Gibson A4 Mandolin 1907

Description

1907 Gibson A4 Mandolin with Inlaid Pickguard.
I received this mandolin in broken and unplayable condition, but complete.
After careful strategizing, I was successful in repairing the body break and separation along with the cracked back plate. I installed an aged spruce cleat on the back interior.
I initially intended to refinish the back and sides, but decided to leave them original. I did not attempt to hide the repair areas.
The mandolin features Handel silver wire inlaid tuning machine buttons and the Fleur-d-lis inlaid pickguard, original tail piece and cover plus the original ebony compensated bridge.
I do not have the original case, but it will ship in a contemporary and appropriate hard case.
I am not an instrument antiquities expert, but everything about this mandolin appears correct and period. Please offer alternative opinions.
I am also not a pro Mandolin player, so the video featuring me playing is basic chords and some scale picking to give the potential buyers a sense of the tone and playability of the instrument.
I hope to have a more proficient player demonstrate the mandolin more expertly in the next week or so.
