This is a Vietnamese made Mandolin made of Rosewood and Cam Lai woods, with French design extra sound holes on the side! a very full, balanced, and warm sound, with lots of volume and articulation!
The woods used are the same as those used for our higher quality Dan Tranh's (Zither's) and other traditional Vietnamese stringed musical instruments.
This mandolin measures approximately 64cm x 23cm without case. Your Mandolin will come with a soft padded carry case for added protection.
If you are Vietnamese, we can (sometimes) get for you an instruction manual with text in Vietnamese, music in standard western format- but no guarantee)
If not, there is a great deal of Mandolin instruction materials available in English and other languages just about everywhere, including Ebay.

What makes these Mandolin's unique to Viet Nam are the pearl shell inlay design artwork, many with distinctly Vietnamese motifs.Note: The particular pearl shell inlay designs in the Mandolin you will receive may differ slightly from what you see pictured. Here we show two different Mandolin backs.. Our Mandolin's are not mass produced and each one is unique. They are all equally beautiful and you will not be disappointed.
These are high quality instruments made by professional craftsman in Ho Chi Minh City.
We do not sell tourist grade, mass produced instruments essentially good only for students, or to be used as wall decoration.
