The concept of the fold down tray has been around for some time and the quality of the products have never really reached the standards that we feel they should. The problems that face the competing products have to do with weight, mediocre quality/finish, worthless attempts at a proper MOLLE grid and the worst sin of all….

The goal was obvious; develop a fold down system with the following qualities.

Must incorporate a proper MOLLE grid (IE: Springtails patented MPAC design)

Proper weight for the application
The Springtail/MPAC folding tray offers the following features
1)
Engineer designed folding mechanism utilizing hardware that will never seize, rattle or loosen. Proper articulation at its best!
2)
Secured in upright position using Shear-Loc brand hardware and retaining clips (so the hardware stays in place and you don’t have to find a place for it when the tray is down).
3)
The simplest feature is the para-cord suspenders
….so why use para-cord when there are so many other types of suspension? The answer is “easy”
