Native American Apache Painted Buffalo Hide with Replica Scalp by Bear Romero
This painted hair on buffalo hide depicts a cow skull with medicine wheel and prayer feathers.
The victorious warrior would have taken a scalp from a successful war party and attached it in this fashion to a buffalo hide to show his strength and courage to the entire tribe. This wonderful piece is finished off with turkey feathers and abalone shell.
Dimensions: 25 in. long x 21 in. wide
It's perfect for pow wows or regalia and makes a beautiful home decor accent.
