    Both work as intended and the mechanical pencil has lead in it. The ballpoint writes for a little bit and then skips so it needs a new cartridge. There is a Parker Ball Pen medium in it right now.
    Cosmetically they are very nice with no damage and very minor signs of handling.
    Thin body design and a classic look.
