The Butterfly Highly Inlaid Pearl Abalone Frying Pan Style Presentation Mandolin

I bought this mandolin along with a dozen or so other guitars, mandolins, and mandolas, from a Vietnamese ebay seller about 18 years ago.  I have this mandolin and the mandola I'm also listing today.  These instruments were never playable because the bone bridge saddle bends under string tension causing the string height to go concave, putting the strings out of alignment with the fretboard.
The back and sides are flamed wood, it looks too grainy for maple, I've been told it's probably sumac which is more readily available than maple in Asia.
There is a crack in the front lower bout that is shown in the photos.
There is minor finish checking and patina all over the instrument.
